<p><strong>AF-1502 - KDF (4lbs) + GAC Cartridge</strong> is a replacement cartridge for the 2nd stage in <a href="https://www.anchorfilters.com/products/af-6002-whole-house-three-stage-fine-sediment-iron-and-carbon-water-filtration-system" rel="nofollow">Anchor AF-6002 3-Stage Whole House System</a>.&nbsp;It also fits any system that has 4.5 in. x 20 in. standard-sized housing. <br><br>This 20 in. filter consists of 100% coconut shell Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and 4 lbs of KDF-55.<br><br>KDF effectively removes up to 99% of water-soluble heavy metals lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved metals. It also significantly extends life of GAC by protecting the carbon bed from fouling by chlorine, algae, fungi and bacteria.<br><br>Removes unpleasant odors and chlorine from water.
