BraunAbility 29186A Handrail Gas Spring Do not confuse this with the Roll-Stop shock! The 29186A is the Longer (14.6") strut used to control the folding Handrails on NCL and CL series lifts. Identification Guide:This IS the correct part if:Your old shock says Suspa C16-21397F.It measures roughly 14-15 inches when the lift is deployed.It connects to the vertical handrail bars.This is NOT the correct part if:Your old shock says Suspa C16-28930 (You need part 32831).It measures only 9.5 inches (You need part 32831).It is located on the platform roll-stop.

• HANDRAIL DEPLOY ASSIST: This longer gas spring (14.67") is designed for the Handrail Assembly, NOT the roll-stop. It dampens the motion of the handrails as the lift folds out, preventing them from slamming down.
• REPLACES SUSPA C16-21397F: Direct cross-reference for the Suspa C16-21397F strut found on NCL and CL series lifts. Also replaces Braun part 180650.
