This flexible duct is available in popular diameter sizes of 2”, 2.5”, 3”, 4”, 5”, 6”, 8”, 10”, and 12”. It is available in lengths of either 12ft or 25ft in all diameter sizes and the wall thickness of this hose is 0.015-inches. The ends of this material handling hose are plain cut in order to allow end users to use the clamps and connectors of their choosing. This is a black polyurethane duct which combined maximum durability with that of flexibility. The XPU 708 - PU Flexible Duct can flex around tight bends and angles with ease and its durability allow it to be used in equipment that require the hose to be continuously flexed. This PU (i.e., polyurethane) flex duct is ideal for use in applications that require the movement of bulk materials or abrasives. The hose is ideal for moving materials such as wood chips or wood by-products in woodworking facilities, road trash and debris when installed on parking lot sweeper trucks, agricultural byproducts, and it is also recommended for use on leaf collection machinery. Since polyurethane is highly resistant to many chemicals, this duct hose is also recommended for use in paint spray extraction and as a fume extraction hose in clean rooms or pharmaceutical applications. The XPU 708 - PU Flexible Duct has an all-black body with a wall that is reinforced by a spring steel wire helix. It possesses a superior rate of flexibility and compressibility. Across all ID sizes this ventilation hose has a compression ratio of 4 to 1, meaning that for example a 12ft hose can compress down to a 3ft section to allow for easier transportation and storage. Hoses made from polyurethane material are known to be very abrasion resistant. This includes abrasions in the form of direct impact and sliding. As a material handling hose, it is perfectly suitable for the transfer of harsh and abrasive media such as wood dust and leaves that would wear down and damage other materials. In addition to materials transfer applications, this polyurethane ducting is highly recommended as an air ventilation hose for air supply applications.
