Gear lube leaking from the pinion yoke or flange is a likely sign that the seal is worn or damaged. If not repaired, gear lube will leak out and eventually reach a point where the gears and bearings can be damaged. This seal fits many different models of Dana axles, as mentioned above, and in both front and rear applications. It does NOT fit late model Dana 44 axles found in Jeep Rubicons.
